Three miles of coastline with its own set of rules
Hillsboro Beach is roughly 3.2 miles of barrier island along A1A — the Hillsboro Mile — with about 2,200 residential units and fewer than 2,000 residents. Direct ocean exposure on both sides of a narrow island attacks electrical equipment continuously. Corrosion-rated enclosures, stainless hardware and copper conductors are the baseline specification, not an upgrade option.
Condominium structure governs the job
